1. Information We Collect

a. User-Provided Information

Account Information: When you sign up or log in, we may collect your name, email address, and password to create and manage your account. We support authentication via Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In.

Habit and Routine Data: The App allows you to track your daily habits and routines. This data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore to provide a personalized experience.

b. Automatically Collected Information

Device Information and Identifiers: We collect device identifiers and information including but not limited to Android ID, Advertising ID, App Instance ID, device model, operating system version, IP address, and app usage patterns. This information is used for analytics, error reporting, subscription management, fraud prevention, and improving app functionality.

Push Notification Data: The App uses push notifications to remind you of tasks and habits. This functionality is provided via Firebase Cloud Messaging and React Native Push Notification.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide a personalized habit-tracking experience.
• Track your progress and update your routines.
• Send push notifications for reminders and updates.
• Improve the App's functionality and user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except to provide essential services or as required by law.

3. Device Identifiers

Our app collects device identifiers including Android ID, Advertising ID, and App Instance ID. These identifiers are required for:

• App functionality and performance monitoring
• Analytics and usage tracking
• Subscription management and fraud prevention
• Error reporting and crash analysis

4. Third-Party Services

a. Firebase Services

• Authentication: Used for login and signup.
• Firestore Database: Stores user habits, routines, and progress data.
• Storage: Used to upload and store user-related data.
• Cloud Messaging: Sends push notifications for reminders and updates.
• Analytics: Automatically collects device identifiers (Android ID, Advertising ID, App Instance ID) and usage data for app improvement and analytics purposes.

b. Google Sign-In

Allows users to sign in using their Google account and may collect device information for authentication purposes.

c. Adapty (Subscription Management)

Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. Collects device identifiers for subscription validation, fraud prevention, and purchase attribution.

d. Sentry (Error Reporting)

Collects error reports, crash data, and device information including device identifiers to help us identify and fix app issues.

5. Permissions

To enable its core functionality, the App may request the following permissions:

• Network Access: Required to sync data with Firebase and fetch updates.
• Push Notifications: Needed to send habit reminders and alerts.
• Storage Access: Used to store progress and user preferences locally.

Permissions are only requested when necessary and are used strictly for their intended purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable measures to secure your data. However, no system can guarantee complete security. We recommend safeguarding your account credentials and updating them periodically.

7. Children's Privacy

HabitTrack is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has used the App and provided personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such data.
